Welcome our new members - David Aldrich and family & Chris McClathchie.
Renewals - Please remember when sending in your renewal it gets mailed to PO Box 588, Saranac Lake. Claude does not work at the Blue Line anymore, so they have been asked not to accept the renewals. Other things we find – no date or no signature; so like texting, review before you send.
Colby Classic Ice Fishing Derby: - This event is coming soon. Volunteers needed for various tasks. Sign in, Ticket sales, Weigh in Fish, update winners board, Door Prizes give-a-way. Both days – Early Birds start at 7AM and we are done by 4:30 Saturday. Sunday goes a little later due to awarding prizes. Come to our next meeting or contact Dustin at dmartin5255@gmail.com 518-207-7283. BONUS – Dustin cooks a mean breakfast and we supply coffee and donuts.
Franklin County Federation of Fish & Game Clubs - Will be meeting at Pack Basket restaurant in Gabriels. Great opportunity to learn how the process of changing regulations and creating laws works.
Pot Luck Dinner – We are back on track. Next one is scheduled for April 6th. Great time to network and meet new friends with similar interest.
Stairs and Walkway - Membership cards will be out soon. Here's how this works. Our membership year runs from January to December. We give everyone a month (January) to get their dues paid before we change the combination. This year the date of the change will be on the Critter Dinner. In the future the combination may be changed as soon as February 1st. Claude will be sending out the cards soon. Here's another hint about getting info from us. When you move or change email, please notify Claude..
Indoor shooting range – It has been brought to the Boards attention there is misuse of the indoor shooting range. The wood frames have been getting “shot up”. There is new damage on the ceilings. Do Not attach targets to the framing. If you have a mis-shot that causes damage, please take the time to inform one of the Board members. This way we won't think someone is causing damage on purpose.
Pistol Shooters Work Day – On February 27 the regular shooters will be working on the backstop. Many hands make short work; if you want to help, contact John Skiff.
As Always – If you have feedback, please contact a board member. This is your club, we represent you. If we don't hear anything, we can only believe you are happy. Help us make it better, talk to us or come to a meeting.
