Archery is enjoying Thursday nights. They welcome anyone who wants to know more to stop in. They are having a great time. The weather is warm enough for outdoor shooting now. Bows with 50# pull or higher and crossbows are welcome for outdoor shooting. Reminder, you must be a member or guest of a member to participate.

10 Gun Raffle – Tickets have been distributed to members. Our printer left off an important part of the tickets. SO, PLEASE take note “All winners will be responsible for any delivery fees.” New tickets are being printed, so future sales will have this disclaimer. Again this year if you sell 20 tickets you will receive a free one. This is valid during events that sell tickets such as the July Gun Show, Malone Fair our club dates and Tupper Lake Field Days. Contact Theresa if you would like to participate in any of those events.

Speaking of Malone Fair. Have you been? Did you stop by The Franklin County Federation of Fish & Game Clubs building? Each member club puts up a display. Our club is asking if anyone would like to lend to a display. Theme (any hunting/fishing/conservation) is yet to be determined, so let us know what you can lend. This will be for the period of August 3 to 13. Contact Jim Jones.

Hunter Safety Courses are happening now. Claude at the Blue Line will be happy to assist you in finding the one you need for spring hunting seasons. Or go on line and visit http://www.dec.ny.gov. A refresher course can offer tips even an experienced hunter can use.

Fathers Day fishing derby will be June 18th. This is a free event for 16 and under. We start at 8AM. A free lure will be given to each child. Complimentary hot dogs, chips and beverage will be served at noon. Come down with your child or to just help out.

Summer Gun Show & Flea Market is hoping to find a few people to assist Walt with the overall chairmanship. Walt has contacted vendors and things are moving along well. He would like a little help so the two shows go on each time. Call him at 354 – 8699 for details. Al Fuller says there are openings for flea market vendors at the July show.
